Brenna began riding at the age of seven, and purchased her first horse at the age of fourteen. She worked at a local horse farm for two years, caring for horses and maintaining a large boarder’s program at a hunter show barn. She started her own horse under saddle before continuing her career in Waynesboro. There she continued to break and train sport horses for Ponies On The Hill, Irish Sporthorse Farms. In addition, Brenna spent a summer working in Charlottesville with top jumper trainers. Upon her return to the Richmond area, Brenna trained in eventing with Abby Johnson. She proceeded to show on the local hunter circuit and later in eventing. She strives for teaching proper horsemanship by example and always with a positive attitude. She believes in the importance of personalizing her lessons to meet the needs of each particular student in order for them to reach their individual goals. Likewise, her consideration and awareness for each individual allows for the most beneficial and rewarding experience for all clients. Conclusively, her attention to detail, encouraging perspective, and incisive opinions create for the best possible environment for horses and riders alike.
